Usage Information

• For Dal & Curry: Rinse thoroughly and soak for approximately 30 minutes–2 hours before cooking. 

• For Khichdi: Combine soaked whole moong with rice, vegetables and mild spices for a wholesome one-pot meal. 

• For Sprouts: Soak overnight, drain and allow to sprout before adding to salads, chaats or other dishes. 

• For Chilla & Pesarattu: Soak overnight, grind with herbs and spices, and prepare savoury pancakes. 

• For Salads & Soups: Cook until tender and add to fresh salads, soups or grain bowls. 

These uses are consistent with common whole-moong preparation methods, including soaking, sprouting, khichdi and chilla/pesarattu.
